Every week, thousands of meals, medical supplies and other products are diverted from landfill by ARC, they immediately give that out to the animal rescue community, council pounds, outreach and community support groups. The numbers are staggering, with many small charities relying on ARC to keep going.

Companion Animal Rescue and Rehoming
Every donation is pivotal in providing shelter, medical care, and rehabilitation for companion animals such as dogs, cats, and rabbits.
Beyond directly aiding these animals, your contributions also support the dedicated rescuers working in the field. We ensure these animals receive the love and treatment they deserve and equip rescuers with the necessary resources like medical supplies, transport, and training to perform their vital work effectively.
Wildlife Support and Recovery
Donations are essential to efforts to rescue and rehabilitate Australia's unique wildlife affected by urban encroachment, bushfires, or illness.
Beyond providing immediate medical treatment, ongoing care, and release programs for wildlife, your contributions also support the dedicated people behind these rescues. We help equip rescuers with the necessary resources to ensure effective field operations and care, helping them return wildlife to their natural habitats whenever possible.
Community Food Banks for Pets
Recognizing the bond between pets and their owners, we operate pet food banks to help rescuers to prevent owners from facing the heartbreaking decision of relinquishing their pets due to financial difficulties.
Donations support the distribution of pet food and supplies to rescuers and community bodies, as well as families in need, ensuring that no pet goes hungry and helping keep pets with their loving families during tough times.
Outreach, DV and homeless support
Outreach programs are a vital lifeline for individuals facing domestic violence and homelessness, social disadvantage and the cost of living crisis.
Donations enable us to provide essential support services to these vulnerable groups, ensuring that both people and their pets receive the care they need in times of crisis. Helping safe havens for pets, allowing those fleeing domestic violence to seek shelter without the fear of leaving their animals behind.
